Kalei’s Hawaiian Hideaway is a well-appointed tropical getaway that is nestled in the lush forests of Puna on Hawaiʻi Island. This 1750sqft custom built cedar home has 3 spacious bedrooms and 2 baths. Our home offers a rustic feel, yet isn’t too far off the beaten path. It’s a great location to have as your homebase while you explore the east side of Hawaiʻi Island.
Centrally located between Hilo & Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park, guests won’t spend too much time in the car visiting the breath-taking sites in East Hawaiʻi. Our home allows you to enjoy easy access to a variety of local attractions. From an adventurous expedition to watch our Hawaiian Goddess of Fire, Madam Pele, dance in Kilauea crater, to visiting the sea turtles at Shipman Beach, you are just a short drive away from the countless alluring destinations our island has to offer. At the heart of our newly furnished home is an updated, modern, and fully-equipped kitchen that will allow you to chef-it-up! You’ll find a cooktop on the large granite kitchen island and a wall oven that’s sure to take care of all of your culinary needs. You’ll have access to most of what you need, including a rice cooker, coffee maker, baking pans, and quality cookware to name a few. And you won’t miss a minute with your loved ones as the open concept living area seamlessly connects the great room and kitchen.
For our guests who need to mix work and play, set up your remote work space in the office nook located in the corner of the great room. There’s lots of space to lay out your work essentials, including tons of storage for all of your office and work supplies.
At the end of your day, unwind into vacation mode and put your feet up on the sofa or loveseat in the living area. Enjoy a movie on the 55-inch smart TV or binge a couple of episodes of the latest mini-series you’re hooked on.
